Sustainability at Akse Tekstil
Responsible production is built into every stage of our process — from the inks we print with to the water we discharge. Below is an overview of our environmental practices, along with the certifications that verify them.
Our practices
Water-based inks only. Every dye used in our production is ecological and water-based.
Responsible washing. Printed fabrics are washed exclusively in facilities operating licensed water-treatment plants.
Zero waste, low energy, clean water. Because we print exclusively with digital technology, we produce only what's ordered — unlike screen printing, which requires minimum runs and generates surplus fabric. This keeps waste out of our production from the start. Energy consumption and our impact on the environment are kept extremely low, and no harmful gases are released during production. Water is used only during the final finishing process, and we work with facilities that purify and recycle the wastewater generated at that stage.

OEKO-TEX® ECO PASSPORT
The inks used in our production hold ECO PASSPORT certification, verifying that the chemicals meet strict human-ecological safety standards.
GOTS-approved inks (by ECOCERT)
Our printing inks are GOTS-approved by ECOCERT for use across the organic fibre supply chain, covering both ecological and social sustainability criteria.
bluesign® APPROVED
Our inkjet printing and fabrics are bluesign® APPROVED, meeting stringent worldwide consumer-safety and sustainability requirements.
