This Privacy and Cookie Notice explains how AKSE TEKSTİL TİCARET VE SANAYİ LTD. ŞTİ. (“Akse Tekstil”, “we”, “us” or “our”) processes personal data when you visit aksetekstil.com, contact us or communicate with us about our products and services. It also explains our use of cookies and your privacy rights.

Use these details for privacy questions and requests. Akse Tekstil is established in Türkiye and offers its products and services to business customers in Türkiye, the EEA, the United States and other international markets.

2. Scope and collection methods

We collect personal data:

automatically when your browser requests a page, Cloudflare delivers or protects the website, or—after you accept Analytics—Google Analytics records a visit or interaction;
from Google Search Console in the form of search-performance reports;
directly from you when you email, telephone or message us through WhatsApp; and
from your employer or another business contact when they include you in an enquiry, quotation request or business correspondence.

The website is intended for business audiences. Please do not send special-category or sensitive personal data unless it is necessary and Akse Tekstil has requested it through an appropriate channel.

3. Personal data we process

Website operation and security data

Cloudflare and our systems may process your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, requested page or URL, access date and time, referring page, request headers, Cloudflare Ray ID, and error, diagnostic, traffic-management and security information. This data is used to deliver, protect and troubleshoot the website.

Analytics data

Only after you click Accept, Google Analytics 4 may process a pseudonymous client identifier, session and visitor statistics, pages viewed, site interactions, approximate country, region or city, browser and device information, and referral or traffic-source information. We do not intentionally send names, email addresses, telephone numbers or other directly identifying information to Google Analytics.

Search-performance data

Google Search Console provides reports about how Akse’s pages appear in Google Search, including search queries, impressions, clicks, pages, countries and device categories. Search Console is verified through a DNS record and does not place an Analytics tag or Search Console cookie on this website. We use its reports to improve search visibility and website content.

Business communications

When you contact us, we may process your name, employer or business, job title, business email address, telephone number, country, enquiry, correspondence history and any information you choose to provide. If you contact us through WhatsApp, we may also receive your WhatsApp telephone number, profile name and message content. If a business relationship is established, we may process authorised-representative, transaction, delivery, contract and accounting records.

Where we rely on legitimate interests, we consider necessity and the effect on individuals. Consent is voluntary and may be withdrawn at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing.

5. Cookies and your choices

Essential technologies operate the website, protect it and remember your cookie choice. Optional Analytics cookies are used only after you accept them. Refusing Analytics does not restrict access to the website.

Cloudflare may place another strictly necessary security cookie if a visitor is presented with and passes a security challenge. We keep the production cookie inventory consistent with the website and update this notice after material changes.

Accept activates GA4. Essential Only keeps GA4 completely blocked. Before either choice, GA4 does not load and no Analytics data—including cookieless measurements—is sent to Google. A Cookie Preferences link in the footer allows you to change or withdraw your choice. Withdrawal applies going forward, and optional first-party Analytics cookies are removed where technically possible.

A recognised Global Privacy Control signal is treated as Essential Only for that browser.

6. Google services

We use GA4 for audience measurement only. Google Ads linking, remarketing, Google Signals, advertising features, personalised advertising and User-ID are disabled. GA4 user- and event-level retention is set to 14 months and reset on new activity is disabled.

Read how Google uses information from sites that use its services. Search Console reports are based on activity occurring on Google Search and are separate from the consent-gated GA4 tag on our website.

7. WhatsApp and external links

The WhatsApp button is an ordinary wa.me link. The website does not load an embedded WhatsApp or Meta chat tool. No connection to WhatsApp is made until you follow the link. After you do so, WhatsApp/Meta processes information under its own terms and privacy notice, and Akse Tekstil receives the information you choose to send.

8. Recipients and service providers

We disclose personal data only where necessary to:

Cloudflare, Inc. and its subprocessors for global website delivery, traffic management and security;
Google and its subprocessors for consented Analytics and Google Search Console reports;
Doruk İletişim ve Otomasyon Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. (DorukNet), our Türkiye-based mail-hosting provider, for email communications;
WhatsApp/Meta when you choose to use the external WhatsApp link;
website-support providers and authorised Akse personnel for operation and enquiry handling;
professional advisers, auditors and insurers for advice, rights protection and risk management; and
courts, regulators, law-enforcement bodies or public authorities where legally required or necessary to protect legal rights.

We do not sell personal data, share it for cross-context behavioural advertising or use it for targeted advertising under this configuration.

9. International transfers

Cloudflare delivers the website through a global network and may process request and security data outside Türkiye. Google may process Analytics data internationally after consent and may process Search Console information through its global infrastructure. WhatsApp/Meta may process information internationally after you choose to follow the external link.

For routine transfers governed by KVKK Article 9, Akse Tekstil uses the applicable standard contract under Article 9(4)(c) and completes the required notification to the Personal Data Protection Authority. A service involving a routine transfer is not activated unless the required transfer mechanism is in place. For GDPR-governed transfers, we use applicable adequacy decisions, European Commission standard contractual clauses and supplementary measures where required. Contact us for information about the safeguard relevant to your data.

10. Retention

When retention ends, personal data is deleted, destroyed or anonymised as applicable.

11. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, including HTTPS, access controls, provider security controls and restricted Analytics access. No transmission or storage method is completely risk-free.

Where the GDPR applies, you may have rights to access, correct, erase or restrict your data; object to processing; receive data you provided in a portable format; and withdraw consent. You may complain to the supervisory authority in the EEA country of your habitual residence, workplace or the alleged infringement. We do not make solely automated decisions about website visitors that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

13. KVKK rights and application method

Under KVKK Article 11, you may ask whether we process your personal data; request processing information; learn the purpose and whether data is used accordingly; learn recipients in Türkiye or abroad; request correction; request deletion or destruction where conditions are met; request notification of correction, deletion or destruction to recipients; object to an adverse result arising solely from automated analysis; and claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing.

Send a request identifying you, the right you wish to exercise and the relevant processing:

in writing, in person or by post, to Yeşilce Mah. Diken Sok. No. 3, Kat 1, 34418 Kağıthane, İstanbul, Türkiye;
from an email address previously notified to Akse Tekstil and registered in our systems, to info@aksetekstil.com; or
through another method permitted by Turkish application rules, including registered electronic mail, secure electronic signature or mobile signature where configured.

Write “Personal Data Request” in the subject line or on the envelope. We may request information reasonably necessary to verify identity and authority, and we respond within the legally required period.

14. Additional rights for international visitors

Depending on your location, applicable law may provide additional access, correction, deletion, portability, objection or appeal rights. Where a United States state privacy law applies to Akse Tekstil, you may exercise the rights it grants without unlawful discrimination. Akse Tekstil does not sell personal information, share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, process it for targeted advertising or offer financial incentives for personal information. 15. Children

The website is intended for business audiences, not children. We do not knowingly collect children’s personal data through it. Contact us if you believe a child has provided data.

16. Changes to this notice

We may update this notice when our website, providers, processing or legal requirements change. We publish the revised date and request renewed consent where a change materially affects your cookie choice.
